Dan Grant Campaign Update Vol IV

A Regular Newsletter from the Dan Grant For Congress Campaign

To Change the Course, Go to the Source!

One thing was clear when I got back to Texas in March after spending most of the past decade in Iraq and other trouble spots around the world — if we want to change the course, we have to go to the source.

My opponent voted for the war in Iraq, which is costing taxpayers $8 billion each month and an incalculable human toll. And he has reliably rubberstamped every failed White House policy since.

That’s why I’m running for Congress — because we need a change in Washington. Now.

I will work for a smart exit from Iraq, pushing to bring our brave men and women home right away to the heroes’ welcome they deserve, while redeploying a strategic number of troops in the region to guarantee stability. Let’s redirect the rest of our resources toward what matters most: education, health care, jobs, and real national security against real threats like nuclear proliferation and global warming.

The standard bearers of the status quo will pour unlimited resources into the race for Texas’s 10th Congressional District to protect the man installed by Tom DeLay and his redistricting scheme. But we can make a fresh start in a new direction. All it takes is hard work and the resources to counter their reliable rubberstamp.

My first fundraising report is due at the end of this month. Please give what you can today by clicking here: dangrantforcongress.com/contribute.

Together, we can restore the mainstream values of Lyndon Johnson, Jake Pickle, and Lloyd Doggett.

Thanks!
